He was the editor of the Australian Rolling Stone magazine from 1985 to 1992 and has his own publishing company which publishes a variety of award winning music magazines such as Juice. He has produced national music shows and written for MTV and the ABC and is one of Australia's leading commentators on popular arts and culture.
