Having been on a gluten free diet for about 13 years I have seen and tried many recipes, but never have I seen a recipe book with such a variety of foods. Yes, I have tried some and the result was delicious. They are simple, basic ingredients, and are foods that could be served to all the family, as making separate meals is one of the biggest problems, especially with children.
I was delighted to have such a choice. Thank you.

A lot of gluten free recipe books contain complicated recipes with several specialist ingredients meaning you are constantly buying groveries and never seem to have everything in the cupboard. This book (as you can tell from the title!) uses just a few ingredients for each recipe and is therefore quick and easy and it is likely you will already have what you need in the cupboard. It is excellent.
I found this book to contain many easy and tasty recipes. Although I really hate having to eat gluten free food, these recipes contain ingredients that are easy to find and has been written for the Australian audience which isn't always the case with gluten free recipes. I've also adapted some of the recipes from the other 4 ingredients books and found them to be quite tasty as well. I would recommend this book to anyone with gluten problems simply because the recipes are so uncomplicated and finding the ingredients is not as difficult as many of the other gluten free books that I have previously purchased.
If you looking for really amazing Gluten Free fresh baking and products its worth checking out the gluten free grocer on Mt Eden Rd, or look on their website www.glutenfreegrocer.co.nz
They stock things like flour mixes (which is really good for cooking with - you can swap it cup for cup with normal baking!), fresh pasta and sauses, cakes, pizzas, slices etc etc! There stuff is soooo good
Great book, worth every cent! Have recommended it to all my Coeliac family members as a must have, and all the non Coeliac family members as a great reference to guide for them in providing tasty easy food for everyone!
Unfortunately, I have been disapointed with this book. I have made four of the recipes from this cookbook and all 4 were disapointing to say the least. I don't believe ingredigent proportions are any where near accurate, for example I made the jam drops and they were incredibly greasy - far too much butter - only half the quantity of butter sugested in the recipe is required. I also made the savory muffins with chesse, very dry and NOT light and fluffy. I'm sorry to say I won't be suggesting this book to anyone.
this book is amazing because i have a 'totally epic' friend who cant eat gluten, and now i can make food for her that is gluten free, but i wouldnt make her any food coz i dun like her anymore and i never talk to her but if i did then i could make her lots of yummy gluten free food and she would be happy with me. i think you should buy it for her.
