4 of 5 Stars! '

lovely book full of gorgeous patterns, yarn types are specified and amounts given in grams as well as ounces which makes it easy for purchasing wool in NZ. there are several patterns in this book I want to make, lots of bright afghans, also bulky weight and childrens patterns. definately recommend. possibly a bit on the pricy side though,

The patterns in this book are varied in design and range from intricate to simple so there is something for both the experienced crocheter and the beginner. If you are looking for new ideas, even if it is as simple as colour coding your next project, this book is a good place to start. I'm happy with the purchase and will definitely keep it in my collection of crochet books. I'd give it an eight out of ten.

This book provides a wonderful collection of afghans to crochet. The patterns create wonderful textures and the colours used give perfect colouring to compliment the designs. I showed it to many of my friends who oooh'd and aaah'd their way through it pointing out to me the many they found outstanding. Being in Australia the only drawback I found was adapting to the US stitches which are different to ours. But having said this it is not hard and there is a stitch instruction guide in the book to help you adapt. I would certainly recommend it if you are looking for a book with more than just one or two that will appeal to you as so many of those in the book are inspirational.
