About the AuthorMarc Vallon is professor of bassoon at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He received his musical education on the French bassoon at the Paris Conservatoire. He has collaborated with leading ensembles around the world, including the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra where he served as a bassoonist for twenty years, La Chapelle Royale, Les Arts Florissants, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (London), and Tafelmusik (Toronto). He also plays the German and baroque bassoon and has taught modern and baroque bassoon at the Lyon Conservatoire and the Paris Conservatoire. Sally Chisholm is violist of the Pro Arte Quartet and professor of viola at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Todd Welbourne is professor of piano at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
