Simple to follow instructions with clear simple instructional photos. Lots of techniques. Another good reference book for the shelf next to your art table!

This book is a great find for people who like using acrylics in many different textures. Easy to read and follow.
I especially like the hardback and spiral edition as it is easy to leave a page open while working. I can recommend this book.

This book is a mine of information on supports, techniques and effects that will push your creative imagination to new limits. Very well explained with great images. A must have in your art library, that will prove a great reference book for all those more inspirational ideas.

I just received this fantastic book, that I would highly recommend to anyone that is interested in knowing more about painting with acrylics. Nancy Reyner is one talented lady, she provides lots of techniques and great tips on how you can get the most of working with acrylic paint including different textures etc. I am so glad I purchased this book and will certainly find a spot on my art table to refer to regularly. This book is Fantastic. It describes a huge range of techniques associated with using acrylics in Creative Art. The book explains how to mix different mediums with acrylics, the ability to gain different surfaces and how to achieve different mixed media techniques. This is a must for artists wanting to explore the wide world of creative art using acrylic paint.

have purchased over 3 of these to date.. One for me and two other artist friends of mine wanted me to grab them copies also..... I am happy to say that I have poured over this book from the moment I received it and it would have to be the most easy to follow; great images; gorgeous artworks and very inspirational for this artist. I love Golden paints so good on Nancy for sharing her knowledge and her skills in publishing this book. A new one is to be on the shelves soon I think. Highly recommended by myself.

This book is one of my favourites for Acrylic Painting. It is full of really fantastic techniques that I just can't wait to try, especially for someone like me who is starting out with acrylics. It is a great resource book for the beginner to the more experienced as there are lots of techniques that I'm sure one does not know all. A lot of techniques use every day products like plastic wrap, bubble wrap etc.

I found the book is very pro-Golden Paints, which isn't a problem for me as that is my preferred product anyway, but I would think it may be a bit daunting for someone who uses another brand and trying to find the same in that brand. Golden Paints & Mediums are really hard to beat, you will soon be converted :)
