This handy little book shows how easy it is to tap into the natural "drug store" in one's body--containing adrenaline, serotonin, cortisol, melatonin, and insulin--and activate internal feel-good chemistry. Charts & illustrations.
I have always thought that perhaps there's something wrong with me, being in hype-mode most of the time, be it at work or at home but then crash and burn when my stress levels hit the roof. And when that happens, things get ugly as I become snappy and my brain gets filled with negative thinking. After reading this book, it has made me realise that I'm normal; there are people out there who have similar experiences and we are labelled what Matt Church terms Adrenaline Junkies. A great book for self-help and self-teaching on how you can achieve a natural high and feel good about yourself.
I was given this book by a pgychologist and found it so interesting and very helpful in understanding not only myself but a lot of other people. I had to have a copy of my own and also purchased one for a friend.
