Moreover, Somers contradicts herself on more than one occasion and makes several errors in fact, claiming, for example, that men's sexual peak is in middle age. This book is a 'must read' for anyone concerned with maintaining a vital, healthy body throughout your life. I have devoured it and am currently undergoing natural hormone replacement therapy as is my husband. It is changing my life. I am feeling for the first time in 10 years that I have energy and am able to get a good night's sleep after being a helpless insomniac. Bit by bit my health is improving and I feel like I am regaining my control over my body and health and wellbeing. It is an exciting, easy-to-read book that helps you to understand your body, how it works, ages and responds to life's challenges. It is a great read and all about an antiageing approach to good health. Prevent the illness rather than just treating it! I love this book!

What a fantastic book! Written with such knowledge, enthusiasm and humour, this book will truly awaken you to the power of your hormones and how debilitating it can be (and doesn't have to be!) to have low levels! It is clear that one day, bio identical hormone therapy will be the preferred treatment method for a variety of illnesses and such therapy will also prevent these illnesses from occurring in the first place. Very recommended reading for women and men of all ages.

Fundamental reading for anyone wishing to retain good health and ward off disease! Lots of people suffering hormonal imbalances and not aware of it nor the consequences. Recommend it to anyone who is suffering menopausal symptoms especially!
