This is not a sewing book, it is a book for style inspiration. It has beautiful photographs of Amy Butler's fabrics and patterns shown in stylish contexts, including interiors (of Amy's own house) and clothing and a chapter on the outdoor inspirations (mostly flowers) that she uses to inspire her fabric design. There are some basic instructions on some sewing projects (eg pillows) but it is more of a book to inspire you on ways to use the fabrics. I think it's a really lovely book to flick through, and a refreshing change to the stark, modern, more minimalist interiors that we often see nowadays. You can see some good examples of the types of pictures in the book on amy's website www.amybutlerdesign.com - click on the 'inspirations' link.
