What is it about ANGELS? They are, a special breed! We humans, desire to be good enough for their undivided attention, Nalini Singh, has the depth of emotion down to perfection. More please Nalini.... Great stuff!

Loved this book - Nalini is more comfortable with her charactors and our BAD BOYs story was just itching to be told. Dominant and stubborn Dmitri is cold of heart to protect it! Honor threatens his demenor and he finds humanity and memories of his human life bringing back emotions he was sure he had buried a long time ago.
Some wonderful twists as Vampire and Vampire Hunter work together - facing fears and horrific life experiences in order to trust again.

I loved this book. I couldn't put this book down, it was action going on all the time and the fact that the main female character is so strong even if she doesn't know it yet.

The murder of a young vampire brings vampire Dmitri in contact with Honor St Nicholas,a guild hunter.
In the past,Honor has been held captive and tortured by vampires and is wary of being in contact with an ancient vampire.
When Dmitri finds out about Honor's torture,he decides to help her find the vampires responsible.Despite her fear of him,Honor begins to have strange dreams in which Dmitri is her husband.Dmitri is haunted by the death of his family a millennium ago but finds himself drawn to Honor, the first woman since the death of his wife to see the humanity in him.
This was a darker read than what I'm used to.Parts of it were kind of unpleasant, such as the flashbacks/dreams of how Dmitri's family died and flashbacks of how Honor was tortured. It was kind of predictable that Honor is Dmitri's reincarnated wife but it was sweet that she forgave him for not being there for her during their first life time together. The ending is left hanging over the fate of their children,so I hope to see more of Honor and Dmitri.
As always,Nalini Singh writes a bittersweet and moving romance.
