This is a great self discovery book. Along the lines of Drawing on the right side of the brain, but a more general creativity than just drawing. You really have to stick to the morning pages, and the other lessons to benefit from this book, but well worth the effort and investment of time.

I first read part of this book over a year ago when I found it in my local library. It's a 12 week course and I only got as far as the second week. Earlier this year I started it again and noticed the difference in my work.

So in the end I decided to get serious about what I was trying to achieve and buy the book!

You see I'm not an artist. For most of the my life I've been an IT analyst programmer (not very artistic at all) but now I'm a personal coach and I'm writing courses and a website to help others.

I'm only into week 3 and already I've noticed a difference in my work. I am more creative, more artistic, happier in my work and I'm exploding with ideas!

Follow the exercises day by day and week by week and I think you'll see an amazing difference too.

You don't have to be an artist to get benefits from the this book. It's written in simple terms with case studies of others who have benefited.

It's a great book.

This is a lovely book that will inspire anyone who is stuck in a rut. It is 12 week program to 'unblock' your blocked creativity. You do need to be a little open minded and willing to try the activities recommended in order to complete the course. This book has been very popular all over the world - not only for artists but anyone wanting to access their creativity. You need to dedicate time to complete the activities each week.

This is such a great book, not just for artists but really any dimension in your life. This 12 week course was so invaluable for me as a mother when you sometimes lose your way. Its about doing things for yourself and discovering your inner you - in a very non self-helpy kind of way.

It helped me to feed my soul, and feel the calm and peace that had been missing.
