How to Paint Expressive Landscapes in Acrylic

This is a very comprehensive art book with 15 visual guides (see front cover). Each chapter is at least 3 pages long explaining elements like light source, plane, applying colour, using negative space, composition, etc. It shows the original image, then placing a grid and mapping the image, and includes the palette for each painting. Each of the 15 projects presents a different acrylic painting and then focuses on the painting's design and shows the artist techniques that will enable you to paint it. The author breaks the paintings up into component parts. Then you map out these parts. A very interesting, informational read and helpful for those implementing the methods.
