About the Author

Lauren Gerber, MsEd, PsyD, is one of the country's leading psychologists specializing in child and family psychology. She is a doctoral graduate, with honors, from Pace University, and she currently teaches at Lynn University. Her vast experience with special needs children led to her becoming Director of Clinical Services at the Slomin Family Center for Autism and Related Disabilities. She is the author/co-author of two previous books, Kitchen Table Therapy and Does God Have an Email Address?. Norman Bendell is an award-winning illustrator and designer. He is a fine arts graduate of the American Academy of Art who has worked in advertising, animation, and electronic media. His illustrations have been featured in a number of best-selling books, as well as works in the American Girl Library series. He has worked with Dr. Lauren Gerber as the illustrator of two previous book, Kitchen Table Therapy and Does God Have an Email Address?.
