It's another grim year for investment banker Alex Masterley as he has to cope with an absence of deals, the constant fear of redundancy and his P.A. selfishly going off on maternity leave.; In this latest collection of cartoons from the business pages of The Daily Telegraph Alex discusses ethics over lunch with the Archbishop of Canterbury, while his colleague Clive's efforts are taken up with trying to grow a moustache for charity. Alex becomes increasingly aware of mortality (if not morality) as he attends a memorial service for a client, celebrates his fiftieth birthday and has a heart attack (inconveniently during Cheltenham week).

He was appointed MBE in 2002. He lives in North London. Charles Peattie was born in 1958. He studied Fine Art at St Martin's College. He produces the Celeb cartoon in Private Eye. He is also an animator and TV writer. He was appointed MBE in 2002. He has four children and lives in North West London.
