This isn't a story for the faint hearted. I found it very graphic and although I felt unbelievable sadness while reading it I couldn't put it down. The ending doesn't really give all that much hope either, there is no fairy tale ending. What is does do is give a very real, honest account of how the curelty of other human beings can destroy a life beyond recognition.
