an enthrawling book that kept me interested the whole way through. Some parts in the book were boring for a while but straight back into interesting action once again. Recomended for people who love thrillers and mystery its really interesting and a fun book. I would say you should but this book as it is a must have for readers alike.

My favourite of the series so far...SYN...what a character...would love for him to meander in to my life !
sex, sex & sex...got a little hot under the collar during some of the scenes...perhaps this should have a MA or 15+ rating on it...Not exactly what I would normally go for...but the story / plot and character development certainly was a worthy counterpoint....
Loved this book sex & all....funny, exciting and yes very sexy and romantic...ticked all the boexes for me...
couldn't put it down...read it in a day... and thank goodness for happyendings...not sure I would've coped with any other alternative...
thx Sherrilyn ...you really kow how to write a good yarn...and have certainly returned my faith in the fantasy genre to entertain and be about something other than vampires!

A good read with thehero being a reluctant tough as nails character "Syn", yet with cracks in his tough guy demeanour shows hes emotional after all, a good fiesty female sidekick adds passion to the mix as well as action, great chase scenes with the enemy in bleak dangerous places, yet a multi layered book as goes into Syn's childhood and how this has impacted him, to the battle scarred man he now is, interesting characters with spcial powers and the age old battle against good and evil, as an american book the sex scenes are described alot, which is a distraction from a good suspenseful read, some amusing parts as the goodies outwit and outfire the baddies!I had not read the first book but this one was good.

A really good read. When the world is turned upside down, where the law is unjust and fear reins all there is only one person, syn who knows how to survive it all. All he has to do is stay alive and beat the odds. Yes it may be like all the other supernatural kind of books but they're great.
