I found this book exciting and thrilling and couldn't bring myself to put it down. It was a fantastic mix of sci-fi/fanatsy, romance and a little bit of adventure and i can't wait to read the next book in the series "born of fire". Sherrilyn Kenyon a fantastic author, if you love her other books you'll definitely love this one too.

I was hooked from the first page, about Nyk and Kiara how love can overcome even the most brutal of upbringings. Book is fast paced a bit sexy with honour and integrity. I couldn't put this book down.

Great potential but unfortunately the book just didn't live up to my expectations. If you are a Sherrilyn Kenyon fan, you'll probably enjoy the book. It has all the ingredients of her Dark Hunter series. Nice book, nice read but personally I'd rather read Nalini Singh any day.

Loved the book, I saw a strong ties to both Acheron and Sin in Nyk and his best friend. Strong themes of betrayal and the power of love and trust prevail in Kenyon's writing again and even though this is a scifi novel you can see the familiar character traits and quick wit associated with the Dark Hunter series which followed these books. Great read, couldn't put it down, can't wait for the next one

AHHHHH loved it loved it After 2 pages I wa hooked. Nyk has that unloveable darkness about him (think Zarek) which of course meant I loved him. Took a little getting around the whole sci-fi thing instead of paranormal but in the end just another brillant book from my fav author. Hope you all enjoy it to
