For those who love a more traditional style of gardening this is a beautifully photographed book that provides ample inspiration. There are also some problem solvers especially drainage issues for most soil types and a plant guide for the sorts of plants to use. In one regard this book is like many others in that in favours one or two types of plants and provides few alternatives for those less than ideal conditions (but perhaps that’s all there is)?
