Another wonderful book from the Sears couple! Their just amazing, there's no over done medical jargon! They don't tell you the only way to raise a successful baby is their way! Their ideas encourage and empower parents particuarly Mummies.
This breastfeeding book is the second book I've brought of theirs because I'm just so impressed. Not only do they help explain the whole breastfeeding subject which can be a mindfield in itself but they also talk about nutrition for mum etc.
The Sear's give you the building blocks to adjust to being a parent, to successfully get your child and indeed yourself into a routine. I'll be incorporating their building blocks into getting my little guy into a routine as soon as he arrives.
As a first time Mum I've been bombarded with well meaning advice, some other books I've read have been scary too much information on everything that can go wrong rather then being positive and actually helpful. Other books have just dictated how I should raise my child or face doom! So this book was refreshing, friendly, positive and non judgemental which every Mummy needs.
At the end of the day follow your own instincts but if you can get some help when you need it most then I highly recommend this book!
It'd make a fantastic gift for a new or expectant Mummy!

i have always had a phobia of breast feeding. my husband wanted to help me so he gave me this book as a gift to help me face my fears. i must admit, i'm still hesetant when it comes to breastfeeding but the level of improvement is just wonderful. i couldn't be happier with my progress.

Informative, interesting and an eye opener are 3 statements which sum up this handy book. when my mother first suggested i breast feed my first born i was horrified at the thought so she gave me this book. it helped me so much and convinced me that breast feeding is the best way to nourish my baby. i now have 3 happy and healthy toddlers whom i have all breast feed.
