This is my 14 month olds favourite book, it has been her fav for a couple of months now if you ask her to get it she will go to the book case and pick it out just by looking at the spine. She LOVES this book. Highly recommend it, especially as a board book.

Originally I purchased Polar Bear, Polar Bear What do you Hear for my 10 month old grandson. He enjoyed it so much, that I bought Brown Bear, Brown Bear as well. He loves the bright artwork and the easy rhythm created by the repetition and rhyme. Being a board book, he can easily turn the pages and I am able to leave the book in his toy box with the fear that he may tear a page.

My 15 month old girl loves this book. She brings it to me and asks me to read it over and over again. It helps to teach colours and animals. It's a great book.

Fabulous book! My little girl wasnt even 1yr old when we borrowed it from the library and had to have our own copy. She adores it, eyes lighting up everytime it comes off the shelf. She can make bear noises, goldfish impressions, even has her own quiet time with it. This is an absolute must for every nursery.

Wonderful book, eye catching pictures, wording with repetition which is great for learning. Small book which is just right for little hands, and not too heavy. Was recommended to us for our child (she was about 11 months old when we got it for her), and now that we have it, we definitely would recommend it as a must have for others.

My 4 month old loves this book. Lovely bright pictures for him to look at and the simple text keeps him focused on it. This is also a great book for older siblings to read to babies and even young children who can't read yet will easily remember the words and be able to 'read' to their young brother or sister. Highly recommended.

I was asked to buy this book for my Granddaughter. Her mother borrowed it from the Library and Samantha was very upset when it had to be returned.
She is only 2 but already she can tell her mother what is on the next page. It is her very most favourite book. My daughter is happy too because she can just wipe it down when it gets grubby and it can't be easily torn.

This is toddlers favourite book in the preschool. Children not only learn the name of various animals, but also learn about different colours and their noises. I also make iit into magnetic stories, where i draw or find the pictures of animals in the book cut them out and laminate them and use them at mat time. I also extended the activity by introducing maori words especially when i name the animals, their colours and even counted them in maori as well.
