I was surprised how detailed this book is when I stumbled upon it. (I’ve always took a liking towards the Berlitz books but this BBC book is also very good if you don’t mind having everything merged into one book instead of having two. But overall, it’s a very good book to have if you’re starting to learn Italian. The downside to this book is that the cds which accompanies this has to be always in use, but overall (again), it's a bargain and good.
