A small and easy to read book that can help you to change your perspective on that most horrible of things - change. Pretty basic stuff, but very helpful, and challenging too. A lot depends on your attitude.
Personally, I can't believe they charge us almost $25 for this book - there's not much to it. Give it a try and see what you think...
Change can be a blessing or a curse, depending on your perspective. The message of Who Moved My Cheese? is that all can come to see it as a blessing, if they understand the nature of cheese and the role it plays in their lives. Who Moved My Cheese? is a parable that takes place in a maze. Four beings live in that maze: Sniff and Scurry are mice--nonanalytical and nonjudgmental, they just want cheese and are willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Hem and Haw are "littlepeople," mouse-size humans who have an entirely different relationship with cheese. It's not just sustenance to them; it's their self-image. Their lives and belief systems are built around the cheese they've found. Most of us reading the story will see the cheese as something related to our livelihoods--our jobs, our career paths, the industries we work in--although it can stand for anything, from health to relationships. The point of the story is that we have to be alert to changes in the cheese, and be prepared to go running off in search of new sources of cheese when the cheese we have runs out.
Enjoyed reading. Had heard of it years ago as it was used at a Forum. I am passing it around to family members because sometimes we tend to find it hard to move on particularly when a certain decision has been made. Would like to read more of that Author.

Great read. Very simple analogy of our current lives and our ability to change with the changing times. Made me laugh right the way through it. It is a bit like reading a children's story really with the same intention of educating. I loved it and would recommend it as a light read to ANYONE!
THIS IS A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE.
I have read this after it was bought by my father and now my children have read it.
Don't wait around, read what it is that make you understand why you give things up to others.
Easy read and will only take you a very short time. But be warned - you will read it again and again so hang on to it
We have made life so complex and stressful that sometime we dont stop to 'smell the cheese', this book brings you down to earth and makes you look at your life through clear eyes. I loved it so much I have passed it over to my manager to read and now the whole company is reading it. It works for all parts of your life and after reading it, you will feel motivated to look at your life, change what you need to and love the things you might of forgotten about.
This is a life changing book. No matter how hard we try not to we all get into ruts of some kind. Changing can be unnerving but the simple example this book describes removes the mystery and impacts you positively when you least expect it.
A must read every year.
