This book is very well written and concise information on how these men trap women into relationships, weave their way into their lives and then go about their way to destroy the very person that they declare that they love. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is in an abusive relationship or who is trying to survive and gain back their lives after the relationship has ended. I wished I had this information before and the author has definitely excelled herself with this book. I couldn't put the book down when I recieved it in the mail, provided a lot of answers, and it is written straight down the line (not dressed up to be pretty or nice!). I believe this book will help a lot of people.

This book is stunning. If you are looking to buy a book for a friend or family member who just 'cant see' what kind of relationship they are in or getting into or getting out of THIS book is excellent. I bought as a gift for a person very close to me who was in and out of a horribly abusive and complex relationship. I have been trying to show her for years that he was an abusive man towards her but nothing has worked - until I showed her this book. She devoured it in a day and kept going back to it for reference so much so that I have bought her a copy. It is very easy to read yet full of information and in no way patronising or unrealistic at all. I absolutely recommend this book. It describes abusive manipulative men perfectly. You will find yourself exclaiming out loud in surprise at just how detailed and observant the author is. In this book you find words for experiences you never knew the words for but have been searching to describe and to understand men who make some women's lives and their families incredibly miserable and distressed. Purchase for a friend, yourself, family memeber or therapists resource library as it is quite simply an excellent way to access information on a very painful suituation.
