I remember loving this as a kid and my 20 month old loves it too. There is so much to look at, with typical appealing Richard Scarry illustrations, and he just loves all the cars, and there is so much more for him to grow into. A classic.

We bought this book for our son, some 30 years ago, and it was one of his all time favourites. Now it is the turn of our grandson, aged two years four months to enjoy the story, the illustrations, and the challenge of finding 'Goldbug'. While the two publications are essentially the same, we are a little disappointed with the depth of colour in the newest edition.

This is a classic book that I remember from my childhood, and both my children love. You can skip over the pages and just point out items from each page if you are in a hurry too!

We use it as a "can you see the ..." type exercise too. Finding goldbug on each page is good to keep them quiet.

i loved this book. it was a lot of fun to read, and the illustrations are so cute and well done. a wonderful addition to my library, as it will be to yours after you buy it!! definitely give this sweet little book a read, your son or daughter will treasure it, thats for sure!! lovely book, cant wait to get the rest of the series!!

I love Scarry's Books because there is always so much going on in the illustrations. I often find the the narrative lacking or a little dated, but it really doesn't matter as my son and I can sit for so long talking about the events and items in the the illustrations. Great classic books for little ones.
