About the Author

Lee Strobel, educated at Yale Law School, was the award-winning legal editor of the Chicago Tribune and a spiritual skeptic until 1981. A former teaching pastor at two of America's largest churches, he and his wife live in California. Famed Christian apologist and former journalist Lee Strobel takes on the case for Christianity by testing the person of Jesus as presented in the New Testament documents. Using his background in Journalism and legal investigation, Strobel interviews a number of prominent scholars on the New Testament and related issues. The topics range from Gospel reliability with Distinguished Professor of New Testament Craig Blomberg; to the philosophy of miracles and the resurrection with Dr William Lane Craig and Gary Habermas, respectively.

The interview format is engaging, and the scholarly input is rewarding. In the end, we have not just an excellent apologetic work, but a work deep in scholarly accuracy.
