Love this writer and this series - not your average paranormal story. Set in Regency London this follows our "not your normal" heroine Alexia Tarabotti - a woman born without a soul but that hasn't stopped her from meeting and marrying Lord Macon; Alpha werewolf of the London pack. Faced with a new mystery "why are all the paranormals suddenly without their powers" Alexia is forced to tackle it head on with the "help" of several interesting characters who may or may not have her best interests at heart. Must warn the readers this book finishes with quite a twist - one that will have you holding your breath for the next installment to find out what happens.
