This book is an excellent resource for preschool, it has text that the children easily become engaged in. The text is catchy and rhythmic and my two year old was reading along after the second reading. The bright pictures only serve to enhance the text. Not only is it fun to read but educational too, highly recommended!

I didn't know whether we'd like this book or not, as we, as a family appreciate a more traditional type of story/book. Once we got reading though our preschooler was involved, boots and all, and enjoyed the activity craft we'd downloaded to support "story time". It's a great story to encourage alphabetic recognition, and the rhythm of the story make it an easy read while the children appreciate the bright art work.

This a really fantastic book to use with preschoolers. There are so many activities you can use in relation to the book. In my little pre-school group we have made a big coconut tree and have all the letters climbing the tree. The kids are constantly asking when we will read it again. They also absolutely love joining in, in the chant style of writing.
