This lively rhyme soon has young listeners frolicking around, with creatures in the Indian jungle. Children will be eager to join in and copy the animals' actions. The song has a quick pace and its catchiness allows little ones, to learn the words and get involved with the story, as they try to guess the animal that will appear on the next page. The book features children from many cultures and differently-abled children. The rhymes and music encourage children to experiment with movement. Everyone will want to get up and dance to this toe-tapping favourite!

Excellent value for money - you get a book and a CD, with songs & music. My 2 year old first heard it at daycare and couldn't stop singing the tune. The illustrations are gorgeous and allow you to make up your own little stories about each of the characters while you sing or listen to the song. A book that will be used over and over again.
I teach in kindergarten/early childhood sector. This had a catchy tune, plenty of action - and it is quite fast. It encourages lots of dance/boogie activity which is great - but the fact that it also has a "read-along" book/song/story means that it is also fun to read the dialogue and enjoy the fantastic illustrations.
So, it is hard to decide when sharing it with children, whether to encourage dancing, reading, singing or enjoyment of the illustrations. It seems to hit the spot anyhow - I have only had it for a few weeks and children are already asking for it at group times.
YOu will absolutely love this book for sure, the lyric and the song is really catchy, and is perfect as winter or rainy day book.
I uses this book with my children in the preschool, and they went bogie, wogie, ogie....all day long as they had easily pick up the catchy bit in the book. Children absolutely love the book.
A favourite to 'boogie' along with at home or in the car!
Repetition and a simple tune make this a fun song for all ages to sing and dance along to.
The book is beautifully illustrated with jungle scenes and happy faces!
An interactive book with lots to look for and discuss in the pictures
