The seventh book in the Alex Rider series reveals all the secrets: Scorpia, Alex's parents, uncle and his dark past. Although the gadgets and themes that underlie this series does become a bit repetitive, Horowitz's style does not. He blends action with drama to create a teenage 007 that we all want to be. This seventh book in the series sees Alex develop and mature as the eponymous protagonist in this series. A must-read for all Rider buffs.
