This book being the first in it's explosive action series is spectacular, i would reccomend it will full will to all teenagers. Its great series is about a teenage super-spy; a bit silly you may think, but it is really one of the most thrilling action packed stories i have heard of. (just what every teen wants to read.)

The first book of the Alex Rider series starts dramatically with the death of Ian Rider and develos very fast to an exciting adventure with the most chilling boy ever. Everybody who starts reading this book won't be able to stop till he reached the end and bought the next one.
I can just advice this book which shows again what an awesome author Anthony Horowitz is.

love love love this book from anthony horowitz! he is the master at making a great kids book that is actually complex and full of action, it could almost be its own action movie! alex rider, who works for a top secret agency, is the perfect main character, as he has great determination, and is willing to do anything to save his freinds. what a nice boy!

STORMBREAKER - The first book in an amazing series. WATCH out FOR ANOTHONY HOROWITZ, he's a class writer and is up there with the best thriller writers this decade. Targetted at younger audiences, Stormbreaker will make you believe that Alex Rider is a younger version of James Bond (007) - or as he's called in the book - double-0-nothing. This novel has it all, gripping action, technology, betrayal. You MUST READ THIS!!

From a teaching point of view this book is fantastic! The character descriptions, simile and metaphors used through the book are brilliant - it really ads depth to the whole story, which you don't see through watch the movie. I am a big fan of books that are part of a series and this one is up there in my favourites.

I absolutely love this book. It is full of adventure, romance, and even a bit of humour. I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys a good read, and you do not have to be a bookworm to read this. overall, this book is worth buying, as you can read it a few times and not get bored of it. out of ten i would give this book a rating of eight.

a very suspensful story, and it was quite a thriller! I was a bit disppointed with the diction and the whole gloomy atmosphere, but otherwise it was good!

the first alex rider book in the series. i congratulate anthony horowitz on his success. i can't wait to see the movie!!! and to read the other books in the series which i am starting on now. full of suspence and cliff hangers young adults and teenagers should enjoy reading stormbreaker.

Anthony Horowitz is truly the kind of writer that can really grip you into a book. This is truly the kind of book that you can't put down.

Storm Breaker is a well written book and one of Anthony Horowitz's most sensible and enjoyable novels yet. The writing style is great, the story is great, the charachter development, plot and setting is great and anybody who enjoys Anthony Horwitz should definately buy this one.
