You should not pass this series - it is one of my favourites still, even though I am now into my twenties. Cimorene is princess, and not of the normal variety. Rather than stay at home and do what all princesses are meant to do, she decides to run away and become a dragon's princess. But unlike other dragon's princesses, she isn't doing it to try and find her a prince - indeed, she doesn't want a prince at all! Well, at least to begin with...

A great series, and not one to be missed - teens and perhaps adults alike should adore this well told story.

Suitable for all ages these books are light anf fluffy and will have you in stitches. With a strong fairytale base it takes the micky out of the tradtional. Its starts off with a princess who is a poster child for feminists she runs off to become a dragon's princess. Unfortunately airhead princes' think she wants to be rescued. A couple of brushes with wizards who melt when doused with a bucket of soapy water with a dash of lemon for aroma. Then of course in the next book you have a mage king who is ruler of an enchanted forest. A lot of interesting characters including a rabbit that gets turned into a donkey a couple witches. an excellent tale for young and old.
