Dear Zoo has kept my 6 month old captivated for hours on end. The simple format with flip up pictures adds to the thrill of discovering each animal as it is sent to your home.
Highly recommend this book for children from birth through to preschool.

I have this in paperback form. A board book would be much better! The kids love this book - particularly when they lift the flaps and make the animal sounds to accompany the picture. Great book - definitely recommend it for pre-school children and those learning to read.

Such a classic. My 1yr old has been enjoying this book since he was born. He is now turning the pages himself and beginning to lift the flaps.

My son was given this book when he was born by his Aunty who loves children's books. We began reading it too him from that time until now. Some of the first words he spoke were "Dear Zoo" and when ever we sit and read this is the book he picks. Being a board book is great for young children as they can't cause so much damage and he just loves opening the flaps. A great book to read to toddlers.
