This is my absolute favourite living book for studying Monet (and I think my favourite for all artists!) It is the story of Linnea, who visits Monet's garden and other parts of France. Linnea and her companion, Mr Bloom, are drawn, but there are photographs and reproductions of artworks throughout the book. I love the way Linnea's story is interwoven with the information she finds out about Monet. She is so joyful about the artwork that you cannot help wanting to find out more. This book has something for all ages - keeps my older ones interested and the younger enjoy looking at and hearing about Linnea. An all round fantastic book - I would highly recommend it!
