What a fun read! My kids just don't want to stop when we read this book. Each chapter is a story in itself and is set in small town America some time in the mid 1900's. Homer Price is a little boy who thinks well on his feet. My kids loved the story about the super hero who needed rescuing, the dounut machine that wouldn't stop and the pet skunk. A fun book for kids. A little absurd for adults. The illustrations really make it something special.
