It is quite a big book and every word is worth it! There are seven books in the same cover, it is easy to read and to follow. A book that is filled with magical places and people, lands of imagination and skies of infinity.
A recommendation to all, don't wait until the movie comes out, I know that it already has for the second book (The Lion the witch and the wardrobe), try to read it thinking that you have never seen the movie, the movie is great but not quite what the book is all about!
It even is a great book to read as a bedtime story to young kids.

The Narnia chronicles are absolute classics of children's literature. The seven volumes follow the adventures of the four Pevensey children as the enter thea magical world of Narnia through a relation's wardrobe.

Filled with Christian allegory and great fantasy, they are simple to read, although often allegorise fairly heavy concepts (such as notions of philosophy in "The Silver Chair"); cool for kids or adults. These paperbacks are also a lovely size for reading.

C.S. Lewis, along with J.R.R. Tolkien and their friends were called The Writer's Club. They were some of the best authors of the twentieth century, and were all Christian.

The Chronicles of Narnia is a fantastic children's series with a beautiful setting and imaginative story. I've recently been reading my old copy of this to my little sister and she absolutely loves the characters and story, even more so in the book than in the movie adaptation. This really proves the power and beauty of C.S. Lewis' writing and because of that, I would highly recommend this series.

Chronicles of Narnia was an excellent find. It had a compelling storyline that was like a fire on snow day. The book warmed me. The writing was wonderful excellent. I really enjoyed the book. The book left me feeling content, intrigued as to what happened next and that I had invested my money well. It is definetely worth buying. Fantasy at its best do byuy.

I totally hated the CHronicals of Narnia on the BBC as a child so i was completely put off reading the book until later life. However, after receiving the set as a Christmas present, i felt compelled to read it and ever since it has been one of my favourite books. It is so well written, and the movie was awesome too@

I first read the series when I was about nine years old and have loved it ever since. C. S. Lewis is a master storyteller, and his books have touched the hearts of millions in a way that no movie, no matter how many special effects, ever can. The Chronicles of Narnia follows the adventures of certain children as they travel into the alternate world of Narnia and encounter the great lion Aslan as well as a host of characters including the White Witch, Tumnus the Faun, Fledge the flying horse, Prince Caspian, and many many more. A charming read for anyone of any age.

C.S. Lewis has createdd a masterpiece in the chronicles of Narnia. Not only are these books enjoyable to read and accesible by young children but they also adress issues in modern society, acting as an allegory in their format.
The books follow the exploits of the Pevensey children as they stumble into another world and eventually become Kings/Queens i this fantasy world. A truly cononical text.
