Each Peach Pear Plum is an entertaining, picture seeking story.

The story is rythmic and asks the reader to search for characters hidden in the pages. It is not much of a story and is quite short. It is more focused on searching through the pictures for characters described in the story line.

My son, who is 4, likes this book but did have a little trouble at first as some of the characters were not familiar to him.

This was favourite book of mine when I was a child and it still has pride of place on my bookshelf. The ideal children's book, cleverly written and with all our favourite fairytale and nursery rhyme characters - everyone from Robin Hood to Tom Thumb to Cinderella and back again.

A fabulous children's book with classic stories and colourful images to stimulate their senses. A must buy for mother's aunties, uncles etc. I know my nephew and children will enjoy this read.

As a kindergarten teacher, this is a class favourite. The rhyming text makes it easy to read and enjoyable for the children as they read along with me. My two year old son also loves this book

As a primary school teacher I can thoroughly recommend this book. Every time I read 'Each Peach Pear Plum' the whole class crowds around to search for the characters. Children who are not familiar with the characters are inspired to know more. It will always have a treasured place in my classroom.

one of my best all time books that i even read as a child. Includes every ones fun loving fairy tale characters including mother hubord, the 3 bears, baby bunting and many many more. great for children learing to rhyme and a hide and seek to find the little boy on his adventure.

A wonderful book, simply written and with wonderful illustrations by the late Janet Ahlberg. My year 3 and 4 class can recite this book off pat and it is a source of continuous enjoyment for those who read it.
