This is the type of book where you can't skip pages when reading to your child - there is no way you can miss any of the characters out! A fantasic imaginative romp where the bad baby is not really bad - just misguided! The pictures are stunning, and your brain will get a workout just reading all the characters names again and again. Great fun.

This book really is a classic. An elephant takes a baby for a ride through the town. The baby demands things from each shop they pass by. The elephant gives him everything he asks for, but he never says "Thank you". At each shop the shop keeper joins the previous shopkeeper in chasing the elephant and the baby through the town. When the elephant realizes that the baby has bad manners he stops and all the shop keepers catch up. In the end they all have tea together. My kids love this book and on each page they say "Hey don't forget - Please" or "He forgot to say - Thank you again!".
