This is such a sweet book about Cissy going to look after a gentleman's house while he goes away on holiday. She called it a housekeeping holiday. And of course she had a cat and a dog to look after too. Every day she writes to the gentleman about what has been happening around the house. We can read these letters throughout the book. It is such a delightful book, I couldn't put it down until I had finished it. I say it would be for the ages of 8 through to my age. By the way, my 8 year old loves it and it has given her some ideas. But I say not yet.
