I bought this book after a Teacher Librarian friend recommended it for boys. We were trying to encourage our 13 year to read a little more. After taking just 2 days to read the first of this series, he devoured this one in the same time. He now has the whole series and eagerly awaits any new books in the Rangers Apprentice series from John Flanagan. Great read... great buy... well worth it!!

Bought this for a 14 year old boy, he absolutely loves it. He is now reading his way through the series of 8 books for the 4th time!!!

Another great Rangers Apprentice title. My 10 year old loves this series. He tells me it is a great action packed story that he would definately read again.
