My 6 year old loves this from a mathematical perspective, whilst my 2 year old just loves the illustrations and lovely, timeless story. A must-buy.

This story is a fun way to snakea a bit of science into children's lives with a good text and even better pcitures.

This is a great classic childrens story. It captivates the children as it is in rhyme and the story is very funny. It is a tale of a group of animal friends who decide to go for a sail on the boat. For children it has humour, suspense and the opportunity for interraction.

I can only say that my 6 year old grand-daughter read it straight away, so that tells me she enjoyed it.

I love this book. A clever, simple story that elicits thought about contributions to a problem and cause and effect. Wonderful illustrations that brilliantly capture the emotions of the animal characters.

A great story with a wonderful rhythm to it to help young readers. My 3 year old shouts 'the mouse! the mouse! everytime the phrase 'who sank the boat' comes up and loves it at the end when the mouse finally does 'sink' the boat. Lots of fun to read with young children and the repetition makes it good for early independant readers too.

Who sank the boat is a story that was read to me as a child and is just as popular with children today. The story helps children to grasp the scientfic concept of bouyancy as they try to work out who sank the boat. What a great way for children learn about bouancy as they are have fun reading the story.

When asked 'Who sank the boat?' my two year old always answers 'me'. He never tires of listening to this story. It is great because he can also join in with the story and he thinks that he is reading. I love the rhyming text and the very predictable ending. (Well, it's predictable when you have read it 50 times!!)

this is a book that was read to me as a child in grade one which is well and trully over 15 years ago. it is a great classic childs book teaching about animals such as goats sheep cows and of couse a little mouse. great book with great pictures and a story that your little one will love.
