My Sister gave me a lend of this book and it got me hooked on the entire series. I have read most of the first series and am hoping to buy more; I am also looking at getting the DVD’s of the episodes.
This book is full of different episodes in the many characters lives. It is addictive, nicely paced and scrum-diddly-umptious! I recommend it to anyone who loves to read or who likes a funny, sweet type of book.
This series is absolutely a guilty pleasure. You can’t help but keep reading this series and once you start and it’ll keep you hooked. And you’d better be ready for a lot of late nights because there are over twenty books in the three gossip girl series. I read the first series and I’m about to start the second really soon. Cecily is a very interesting writer and I’m sure you’ll love her books. This is the twelfth book in the gossip girl series.

This is a must for all the fans of the series, and gives us a bit of background as to some of the mysteries of the series, like Serena and Nate's hook up.
Also hints at who GG really is...
this is the prequel to the GG series, and deals with the times when everything is really starting to heat up- ie when blair finds out her dad is gay, and when blair and nate start to get together. so they are about 15 years old, roughly 2-3 years before the current series. this book filled in a lot of the blanks and mysteries about the series, such as the REAL reason why serena left for boarding school, and it is a must read for fans of the series!
