Very cool as usual ! Come along on another adventure with Asterix,Obelix and companion Dogmatix.Also staring Queen Cleopatara.This time in Rome the slaves are revolting,they steal Julius Caesar's own Galley.the finest warship in the Roman navy.Will Asterix help the slaves against the Romans?Will Caesar get his ship back?

I'm all for some new Asterix adventures; I love the books. Unfortunately, they're just not the same anymore. While "All at Sea" is an enjoyable tale of itself, as the previous review states, it is getting rather silly (although in comparison with the sequels it is somewhat tame!). It reads as though Uderzo has run out of ideas, and sadly the tried and true Asterix spirit is dwindling along with them. The earlier books were better, without a doubt. But good on Uderzo for keeping Asterix alive, if nothing else!

This is the 30th adventures published in French and English in 1996.

With Rene Goscinny deceased, Albert Uderzo began writing as well as illustrating the series. Not as good as the first 24, sales show that they are no less popular...

In this volume, Obelix drinks an entire cauldron of magic potion. First, he turns to stone, and then he turns into a child. Asterix, along with the help of some escaped slaves (led by a Greek named Spartakis, who looks a lot like a young Kirk Douglas) go to Antlantis to find healing for Obelix. They're starting to get a bit sily by this stage...
