Flavia, Jonathan, Nubia and Lupus go to Pompeii to visit Flavia's uncle Gaius. They stay there trying to solve the mystery given to them by Admiral Pliny and find 'Vulcan' the blacksmith. They stay at Gaius's villa, but little do they know that Mount Vesuvius, never known to have erupted, is about to explode and bury the town. I would recommend this book to anyone, as it is very well written and very entertaining.

The volcan of pompeii has been rumbling for years but now the sleeping one seems to be awakining. Flavia and her friends are on the island with her uncle for a holiday but their holiday turns into a night mare when the volcano erupts and they are in the danger zone.
