After finishing reading this book it never occurred to me that royal people went through such a hard time. They had their live controlled by other people. Marie Antoinette lived a life where she was forced to do things that were forced against her own will. Even though much of this book is fictional there is one thing that made me feel really sad: The fact that she became a gambler. She gambled and gambled and gambled. She had children and was beheaded. She had a bad life.
