This book is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Even though it's supposed to be a children's picture book, it is surprisingly dark. I don't think it's horribly terrifying, but if there are parents who think their kids scare easy, then this book is probably not the best choice. I must say it's very different to the usual picture books that I know of, think the complete opposite of Disney with Tim Burton mixed in!
