A brilliant read!!!
Justin Somper delivers yet another fantastic installment into the Vampirates series, a totally original concept, combining both Pirates and Vampires - the stuff that good adventures are made of!
Grace has been "rescued" from the Vampirates ship by her brother Conner and the pirate crew he has joined. But all is far from well. Grace continues to sense that something is very wrong back on the ship where she made some good friends, and has visions that involve her best friend Lorcan Furey is a great deal of pain and suffering.
Meanwhile, Conner has his own battles to fight and both twins question the choices that they've made since leaving Crescent Moon Bay. After an agonizing battle aboard ship, they make for the seemingly safe Pirate Acadamy where Grace hopes to keep her brother safe from harm and where Conner hopes to learn more about the pirate world that he was thrust into.
The only negative thing I have to say about this book is that Justin Somper had better be working on a sequel, and quickly!
