Darren comes face to face with pure evil in the form of Mr Tiny, the leader of the Little People who join the Cirque Du Freak, and who eat anything -- including human flesh. When he discovers animal bones, RV frees the wolf-man from his cage -- and no-one could possibly guess how truly terrible the whole effect would be.

About the Author
Born in London in 1972, Darren O'Shaughnessy [writing as Darren Shan] moved to Limerick with his parents and younger brother. Returned to London to study Sociology and English then worked for a TV cable company. His first adult novel Ayuamarca has been published by Orion and his writing has been likened to Clive Barker and Iain Banks. He is now a full-time writer of TV scripts and novels. Cirque du Freak is his first title for children.

in the second book in this excellent series, darren learns how to be a vampire, and must try his hand at drinking human blood, which he really does not want to, until he must. he also comes into contact with a vicious wolf man at the cirque, who proves to be a danger for all. a must read if you liked the first, and why wouldnt you!
