About the Author
Born in London in 1972, Darren O'Shaughnessy [writing as Darren Shan] moved to Limerick with his parents and younger brother. Returned to London to study Sociology and English then worked for a TV cable company. His first adult novel Ayuamarca has been published by Orion and his writing has been likened to Clive Barker and Iain Banks. He is now a full-time writer of TV scripts and novels. Cirque du Freak is his first title for children.

great stuff this book also rocks as do all the books in this series which is nearly as good as stuff like harry potter! in this one, a vampaneze by the name of murlow is tormenting people in the city. darren and mr crepsly move in to stop him, and darren befriends debbie. great reading, anyone will love this!
wicked book by author darren shan. this is the third book in the series, and hwere things really start to heat up as daren leaves the circus and finds out a bit more about the vampire world, which is his new world. some exctiement and love are found in this book, which will compell you to read
this is another WICKED book by darren shan. this time leavin the home city, my crepsly and darren venture out into new territory. darren meets a girl called debbie, and learns of an evil thing similar to a vampire but not. it is the start of many battles to come between the vampires and vampaneze!

In the Tunnels under the city Darren, Mr.Crepsley and Evra hunt the one they call 'Murlough'. The vampires and snake boy must catch this crazy vampaneze before he kills more helpless people.
