This could never have been anyone's favourite for the simple reason that Bella's so sad. However, this is still a very good book as it shows the neccesary development of Bella getting closer and closer to Jacob and so including him into the itinary of main characters. Also because she was so close to him the secret of his, 'Warewolfness;' etc. Has a far greater impact than if Edward had been there for the entire time. Also- though Bella gets more and more fond of Jacob and tries to convince herself that she has to move on from Edward- she realises as soon as Edward is in danger and she automatically faints with terror that he is the only one that she can't live without. It is a brilliant book in a brilliant series.
Even though Edward was not in this book that much I found it surprisingly good, although I must admit the chapters without Edward (which were actually more than I thought they would be) are a little boring (yes, I'm for Team-Edward!) but in their own way Meyer was able to really develop Bella and Jacob as characters! The fast pace ending and race to save Edward's life by Bella and Alice had me unable to put the book down and I was reading well into the night, regardless of the fact I had school the next day! This is a great sequel to Twilight and defiantly worth the time to read and the price!
In my opinion one of the best books out for my generation. Its kind of like a modern day Romeo and Juliet with a new take and with vampires. This is the sequel to Twilight. Plain -jane Bella moves into Forks to be with her father- Charlie, and meets the beautiful Cullen family; especially Edward. They fall in love. However; this time something drastic happens that causes Bella's life to shatter

Even better than the first book (Twilight) is New Moon. Not only do we have Vampires, but we have...oh. I better not spoil it! :o)
The Bella & Edward books are becoming fast faves of mine, and they'll be ones I can read over and over in years to come, and still find them awesome.
I have been recommending these books to anyone who'll listen, and I should add that, just because there are some Vampires in the story line, doesn't mean the book is bizarre in any way. I admit, Vampires are odd, but it would appear, upon reading Twilight and New Moon, that we've had the whole Vampire persona mixed up for centuries!
This series so far has been amazing. I am in anticipation for the next one and fully intend to purchase it as soon as possible. This series combines the theory of star croosed locvers, but with a new twist. One is human; the other is a vampire. With many references to the famed Romeo and Juliet, this series leaves u hungry for more. It has romance, humour, friendship, action and excitement. Basically; all the bases are covered.
My little sister is addicted to these book and while I'm not as a big fan as she is I know a god book when I read one. If anything I like this book more than Twilight and it's left me waiting for the next book in the series. A great read for lovers of vampires, adventure, and a good dash of true love thrown into the mix for good measure.
