What a brilliant book! I really enjoyed this one, and I only wished I had such imaginative stories to read when I was growing up. As described by a reviewer, this is a deliciously scary book and I loved it. This tale is so original and the creativity is fabulous. I've said it before and I will say it again, children's stories have grown increasingly sophisticated, and for the better. I read Coraline right after re-reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and I think the classic pales in comparison. The Lewis Carroll book will always remain a classic but I think Coraline is for the new generation of kids (and adults too!) and many future generations to come. This is a fantastic book and should be read by all, both young and old.
