you know, j k rowling really is quite a political author. the way the ministry of magic reacts when faced with the possibility of voldemort (he who must not be named) returning - they deny and condemn the ones who tell the truth. quite possibly a reflection of the politicians of to day? a great book

This is one of the best books in the Harry Potter series, he is in his 6th year at hogwarts and the plot thickens! Harry is finding out more about Voldemort's past and the prophecy and what he must do to finally finish him off.You have to read this book if you have read any of the others, you shouldnt need to read this review to decide! The end is rather sad and it leaves you wanting the 7th book to come out. luckily it comes out in a week. I cant wait!

In this book, Harry has an amazing adventure with Dumbledore to find a horcrux but when they arrive back and find Death Eaters, Dumbledore is murdered by Snape. Harry then discovers that the horcrux is a fake and that someone named R_A_B has taken the real horcrux. In the final installment, Harry will have to find R_A_B and see if he has managed to destroy any more of the horcruxes.

Harry Potter didn't think he could take potions after not getting the required marks in his OWLS to take it. It's a shame... and the death of his dreams of being an auror. Until he finds out that things have changed slightly, and he CAN take Potions. only he hasn't got a book, so he uses one of the old ones, owned by someone who calls himself the "Half Blood Prince" and who had some nice and some not so nice spells. But then, harry can hardly be expected to worry about that, with Voldemort on the loose and plotting a murder...

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is an excellent book. This book is filled with twists turns, adventure and excitement. What I really like was that it had a storyline where you couldn't predict the next bit, which I find a problem with a few books. Excellent compelling read recommended.

this is the most recent book in the harry potter series, and like the others, it was filled with loads of intrigue, mystery, and sadly death, tho i feel like the person is not really dead if you catch my drift! in this one, harry grows up a bit, and all three main kids get a bit of lovin, which is nice. a must read for all!!!

this penultimate harry potter book is jam packed with revelations, mysteries and the shocking and devastating demise of one of the harry potter series' most loved characters ( i am still crossing my fingers that he or she will be back in the seventh book though). highy highly recommended, do not miss

I didn't think the first few Harry Potter books were that great, but for some reason I just kept reading and as the series goes on it gets exponentially better. Now I'm addicted. This is the 6th [2nd-last] book of the series. There isn't a dull moment in this book and it adds yet more layers an possibilities to the ever increasing in complexity saga of the series. Also it adds additional complexity to one of the most interesting characters in the series, the title character [other than Harry.] There's the potential for an amazing conclusion in the next book [7], I just hope Rowling/editor/ghost writer can pull it off.
Some people probably think they can give this to young children, but it's probably not suited to those under 10.

I give this book a 5/5 as it is great to see that they finally killed off a very important character-no it wasn`t Harry Potter though!
This book really builds on no.5, and steps it up into more darkness as should have been expected!

Easily the best Harry Potter book out of the series is , Harry Potter and the Half blood Prince. JK Rolwings writings just get better andbetter and better. This huge novel is excellent to get lost in and finally come out of. Voldemort will finally be defeated!
